Treating old people in the comfort of their home

People, just like tangible things become more valuable with the passage of time. Sometimes we are attached with them emotionally, spiritually and psychologically. There are feelings to us which are rare and cannot be measured in terms of money or finance.  Among all the creations on the face of the earth, human beings are considered superior and thus need to be treated as superior. It is the golden rule of nature that with the passage of time people get old and then leave the world. We also cannot control the disabilities in humans even after the world has entered into 22nd century with a huge development in medical sciences.
In early times, the human needs were limited and thus limited effort was required to lead a happy and prosperous life. In this era where man has set his foot on the moon and is still exploring new unseen worlds, the human needs are limitless. Where there were only one member earning for the family now there is every member earning to run the home collectively. Still the problems and deficiencies are there.
In the past the elder people at home were treated by the younger ones and it was the duty of the younger ones to take care their elders. The old age houses were not introduced and there was no concept of outsourcing the care. Comparatively with the start of 21st century the living styles were flipped upside down. A major and important change in the living standards was introduced. People started depending on machines. New marketing techniques were launched. All this was introduced to help the human race. But no one knew that these inventions would change the human life dramatically. A new and huge set of necessities were launched. To keep up in the society one had to work more and more.

With the invention of all these new professions, a new and very effective profession of care at Home was introduced. Care at home deals with providing the people with the care and treatment at home rather than at hospitals or care homes. This includes people that have recently recovered from a major operation, people that were injured badly in an accident, or people that are unable to change their own clothes. The need of this profession was so effective that in a very short time it gained a lot of reputation. Nowadays it covers nursing care, physical therapy, occupational & speech therapy, medical social work, home health aides, homemakers and companion care, care management to coordinate any help you need, disease support programs, hospice and palliative care, respite services, health monitoring through telehealth, falls detection, personal emergency response systems and medication dispensing services. These services can also be modified according to ones need.

The importance of the service is proved by the modern medical science which believed that the recovery rate from a disability or a disease is faster in a familiar environment surrounding than in a strange environment. The familiar ceilings, voices and faces have a deep impact on the patient. Not only for medical patients, care at home can be provided to people who want to get help with their household work. The people who live alone or the people who need help with running the household. With the development of care at home, a person can get trained with the institution to treat their family member. A vast program of training is available to be adopted for almost any type of disability.
